Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited has reaffirmed that the gantry, or ex-depot price of premium motor spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, has not been increased.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the company emphasized its commitment to maintaining stability in Nigeria’s energy market and helping to shield the broader economy from external pressures. The clarification appears to address recent speculation about a possible price adjustment.

However, the refinery did not state the exact price that marketers or consumers should expect. In the statement shared on its official X handle, the company simply noted that the price of PMS remains unchanged and that its ex-depot price is still the same.
