Senator representing Edo South Senatorial District, Senator Neda Bernards Imasuen, has celebrated Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, on his 46th birthday, describing him as a proven leader, builder and authentic voice of the people whose political rise has been anchored on service and results.
In a birthday message, Imasuen said Idahosa’s emergence from grassroots politics to the House of Representatives and subsequently to the Edo State Government reflects a steady record of public service and leadership.
The Senator specifically commended Idahosa’s tenure as a member of the House of Representatives, where he represented Ovia Federal Constituency from 2019 to 2024, describing his legislative years as a period marked by strong constituency representation and commitment to grassroots development.
According to Imasuen, Idahosa’s transition to the position of Deputy Governor in November 2024 further underscored his growing relevance in Edo’s political landscape and his capacity to operate at a higher level of governance.
He said Idahosa has consistently demonstrated that political office should be deployed as an instrument for solving problems, empowering citizens and delivering tangible improvements to communities.
