Dr Edosa Lauds Okpebholo’s London Engagement, Says Diaspora Drive Will Boost Edo’s Devt

The member representing Oredo West Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Richard Edosa, has applauded Governor Monday Okpebholo for what he described as a successful and strategic engagement with the Edo diaspora community in London, saying the initiative will accelerate investment and development across the state.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the lawmaker described the Governor’s interaction with Edo indigenes in the United Kingdom as a bold demonstration of inclusive governance and visionary leadership aimed at positioning Edo State for global opportunities.

Dr. Edosa said the London engagement provided a credible platform to market Edo State’s vast investment potential, promote its rich cultural heritage, and deepen collaboration with Edo professionals and investors in the diaspora.

According to him, Governor Okpebholo’s decision to engage Edo citizens abroad sends a strong message that the administration recognises the diaspora as indispensable partners in the state’s development agenda.

“Governor Okpebholo’s decision to take Edo’s development agenda to London is a bold step. It tells our people abroad that this government sees them as critical stakeholders in building the New Edo,” he stated.
