The APC candidate for Oredo East Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Osamuede Edwin Edebiri, today engaged members of the Edo Artist Association of Nigeria residing in Oredo, Benin City, where he presented his vision for purposeful representation, grassroots development, and inclusive empowerment.
During the interactive session, Edebiri highlighted his commitment to prioritising women and youth empowerment through non-refundable grants to support women owned businesses, as well as opportunities for skilled and unskilled youths to improve their livelihoods.
He also emphasised that his experience as a staff member of the Edo State House of Assembly, combined with the guidance and collaboration of experienced political leaders, would strengthen his capacity to deliver more for the people of Oredo East. He noted the value of learning from serving representatives, including Hon. Edosa Richard, APC candidate for Oredo West, whose legislative experience would provide valuable insight for effective representation.
The visit attracted an impressive turnout, with members of the Edo Artist Association of Nigeria warmly welcoming Edebiri and listening attentively to his proposal as the group expressed confidence in his vision and candidacy.
