Edo Women Affairs Commissioner, Idaomi felicitates with the Muslim community on Eid al-Fitr

The Edo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Barrister Bisi Idaomi, has expressed her warm congratulations to the Muslim community in the State, marking the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.

In a heartfelt message sent to Uptown Press Nigeria, the Commissioner offered her blessings, calling for compassion, peace, and unity among the people of Edo State.

“Eid Mubarak to all Muslims in Edo State!” she began. “As we rejoice in the conclusion of Ramadan, my prayers are with everyone as we seek Allah’s blessings and mercy. May this Eid bring abundant joy, peace, and prosperity to our families, communities, and the State.”

Barrister Idaomi emphasised the importance of embracing the core values that Ramadan promotes, such as compassion, kindness, and generosity. She encouraged all members of society to continue to reflect these values in their daily lives, fostering a spirit of peace and understanding across diverse communities.

The Commissioner also took the opportunity to extend special wishes to the women and children of Edo State, wishing them happiness, protection, and empowerment as they strive to fulfil their potential.
“To the women and children of Edo State, I send my sincere wishes for a blessed and joyous Eid. May Allah’s protection and guidance be with you always,” she said.
