Gov Okpebholo Appoints Kasimu Otono as Special Adviser on Oil & Gas

The Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved the appointment of Barrister Kasimu Otono as the new Special Adviser on Oil and Gas.

Otono takes over from Mr Felix Isere, the immediate past adviser who was recently suspended from the role.

A seasoned legal practitioner and real estate entrepreneur, Otono brings a wealth of experience to the position. He is also widely recognised for his philanthropic efforts and strong community engagement.

The newly appointed adviser is a member of both the Nigerian Bar Association and the International Bar Association. He currently serves as a Senior Partner at Kay & Kay Legal, a law firm with a focus on Commercial, Real Estate, and Oil & Gas Law and Practice.

The appointment was formally announced in a statement signed by Umar Musa Ikhilor, Secretary to the State Government.
