Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Saturday recorded their biggest win ever in any official Football match, beating Sao Tome 10-0 in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
The ten unreplied goals were scored by Victor Osimhen (4), Terem Moffi (2), Oghenekaro Etebo, Moses Simon, Ademola Lookman and Emmanuel Dennis (1 each) netted the goals.
Before now, Nigeria’s biggest win in Football was against Burkina Faso in 1991 at the Surulere National Stadium, winning that match then by a 7-1 scoreline.
