Siminalayi Fubara, Governor of Rivers State, has pledged to work with all members of the State House of Assembly, including newly elected lawmakers from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Rivers State House of Assembly by-elections were held on February 21.
Ukalikpe Napoleon won the Ahoada East Constituency II seat, while Loolo Bulabari Henrietta secured victory in Khana Constituency II.
Fubara described the victories as well deserved, noting that they reflected the confidence and support the constituents have in the candidates.
The governor also commended residents of Ahoada East and Khana for maintaining peace and order before, during, and after the elections.
