The Progressive Professionals Forum (APF), a group under the auspices of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to ignore calls for the sack of the Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami.
The PPF, in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja asked the President to ignore the calls from the People’s Democratic Party (PDp) and others who they referred to as “hired contractors.”
According to the forum:”The opposition party and it’s like cannot blackmail the latter’s Minister to resign because the latter’s view has long changed from what he expressed long time ago.”
It also said it is proud of Pantami’s achievements in the Information and Communications Technology sector as shown by the recent growth and development in the sector.
