Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has issued a stern warning to some governors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who have shown support for Siminalayi Fubara, the current Governor of Rivers State.
Wike, a prominent figure within the PDP, claims that these governors are attempting to wrest control of the party’s structure in Rivers State from his faction.
In a recent statement, Wike stressed that any efforts to undermine his influence within the party would have severe consequences.
He warned that those involved in such actions would face significant difficulties, going as far as to say they would “never see peace again.” Wike singled out governors from Bauchi and other States, suggesting that their interference could lead to trouble not only for them but also for the PDP as a whole.
