Residents of Irokhin and Iguiya communities in Orhionmwon Local Government Area have applauded Senator Neda Imasuen for the construction of the Irokhin/Iguiya road, describing the project as a transformative intervention for the area.
The commendation was conveyed during a thank-you visit to the lawmaker, led by Mr Frank Izevbuwa, who spoke on behalf of the benefiting communities.
He praised the senator for what he termed a timely and impactful initiative, stressing that the road would significantly improve living conditions and ease long-standing transportation difficulties faced by residents.
According to him, the project—stretching from Ogan and passing through three other communities before terminating at Irokhin—has already sparked renewed optimism among locals.
