King Sunny Ade, the renowned Nigerian Juju music maestro, has extended his condolences to the family of the late Onyeka Onwenu.
Alongside him, reggae star Orits Wiliki also paid a visit to Onwenu’s family in their residence in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The visit took place on Tuesday, and the delegation offered their sympathies and support following Onwenu’s recent passing.
Kenny Ogungbe, a music producer, shared photographs of the visit on Instagram, writing, “Musical Copyright Society Of Nigeria MCSN Delegation To Pay A Condolence Visit To Onyeka Onwenu’s Family In Ikoyi Lagos.”
Onwenu, an iconic singer and actress, passed away on Tuesday night, July 30, at Reddington Hospital in Lagos shortly after performing at a birthday party.
