Hundreds of beneficiaries of Senator Neda Imasuen’s free medical outreach across Edo South Senatorial District on Monday poured encomium on the lawmaker, describing the initiative as an extraordinary act of generosity and compassion.
The beneficiaries gathered in Benin City to receive free medicated glasses aimed at correcting visual impairments and improving their quality of life, in an intervention facilitated by the Senator.
One of the beneficiaries, identified simply as Stevester from Ward 2 in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the lawmaker for restoring his sight through the provision of medicated glasses.
Similarly, Mrs Lilian could not hide her gratitude, noting that the timely intervention saved her from a looming risk of blindness, while praising the Senator’s commitment to the wellbeing of his constituents.
In the same vein, Favour Uwanbor, a health officer from Uhunmwonde Local Government Area, commended Senator Imasuen for his impactful outreach and lauded the medical team for their professionalism. She urged other political actors in the district to emulate what she described as a life-changing initiative.
A second batch of the free medicated glasses distribution has been scheduled for a later date, as part of sustained efforts to deepen healthcare access across the district.
