The Governor of Nasarawa State and Chairman of the North Central Governors Forum, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, on Wednesday departed Jos for Abuja alongside Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda.
The trio had spent the night in Jos following activities marking the formal reception of the Plateau State Governor, His Excellency Caleb Muftwang, into the APC.
The high-profile event, which drew key political leaders from across the North Central zone and beyond, is seen as a major political development with implications for party realignment and consolidation in the region.
