A member of the Edo State House of Assembly representing Oredo West Constituency, Hon. Dr. Richard Osaro Edosa, has congratulated Omorodion Omogui, Esq., on his election as Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Benin Branch, expressing confidence in his ability to advance the legal profession and uphold the rule of law.
Edosa, who is the Deputy Chief Whip of the Edo Assembly and Chairman of the House Committee on Health, described Omogui’s emergence as a well-deserved recognition of his professional integrity, legal competence and unwavering commitment to the ideals of the legal profession.
In a congratulatory message, the lawmaker said the new NBA Benin chairman possesses the leadership qualities required to strengthen the branch, promote unity among members, uphold the highest standards of professional ethics and champion the cause of justice within Edo State and beyond.
He expressed optimism that Omogui’s administration would consolidate on the achievements of previous leadership while steering the branch to greater heights.
Edosa also paid tribute to the immediate past Chairman of the NBA Benin Branch, Idemudia Iredia Osifo, Esq., and members of his executive committee for what he described as their dedicated service and invaluable contributions to the growth of the association during their tenure.
According to him, the outgoing executive laid a solid foundation upon which the new leadership can build to achieve even greater milestones.
The lawmaker prayed for divine wisdom, strength and resilience for Omogui and members of his executive committee as they assume office, expressing hope that their tenure would be defined by purposeful leadership, remarkable achievements and lasting progress for the legal profession.

He wished the newly elected NBA Benin Branch chairman a successful, impactful and illustrious tenure in office.
