Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has officially submitted his African Democratic Congress presidential nomination forms ahead of the 2027 general elections, pledging to rebuild Nigeria and restore hope among citizens.
Atiku, who recently obtained the ADC nomination form reportedly worth N90 million, presented the documents at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja as political activities ahead of the next presidential election continue to gather momentum.
Speaking after the submission, the former presidential candidate vowed to focus on economic recovery, national unity, job creation and tackling insecurity if elected president in 2027.
He said Nigeria needs purposeful leadership capable of rebuilding public confidence and improving the living conditions of millions of citizens.
Atiku’s move comes amid growing competition within the ADC, with other prominent aspirants including Rotimi Amaechi and Mohammed Hayatu-Deen also joining the presidential race under the party’s platform.
