Legendary Nigerian footballer, Asisat Oshoala has won the 2022 African women footballer of the year for the record fifth time.
The Nigerian and Barcelonan star becomes the first footballer to win FIVE African Player of the Year awards.
Oshola beat Zambia’s Grace Chanda and Cameroon’s Ajara Nchout Njoya.
She won the award previously in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019.
