Super Falcons veteran defender Osinachi Ohale has announced her retirement from international football, bringing the curtain down on an outstanding 16-year career with the Nigerian womenβs national team.
The 34-year-old defender leaves the international stage as one of the most experienced players in Super Falcons history, having amassed 86 international caps while featuring prominently in some of Nigeriaβs biggest moments.
Ohaleβs remarkable international rΓ©sumΓ© includes five Womenβs Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) titles, four FIFA Womenβs World Cup appearances and seven WAFCON tournaments.
Across 16 years in the famous green-and-white jersey, the defender established herself as a dependable presence at the heart of Nigeriaβs defence, combining experience, physicality and leadership.
