Today, history was made in Fufore LGA as the PDP officially flagged off the 2026 Local Government Election campaign in the presence of Dr. Morice Bonivolki, PDP Governorship Aspirant.
Dr. Yahya Saidu Fufore (Dan Galadima Fuunange) received the PDP flag as the party’s Chairmanship flagbearer. But this was bigger than a flag. It was a covenant. Holding that flag, Dr. Yahya made one promise to all of Fufore: “I will bring positive change, and I will carry everyone along no matter your ward, tribe, faith, or party.”
That promise echoed across all 11 wards. From Beti to Jauro-Ji, Gurin to Pariya, Karlahi to Mayo ine, the people came out en masse. Streets turned into rivers of green, white, and green. The crowd was so massive it felt like all of Adamawa had gathered in one place. Thousands of men, women, and youth stood shoulder to shoulder: PDP, APC,
and the undecided. Muslim and Christian. Farmer and trader. Elder and youth.
The turnout was not just about party. It was proof of impact. For years Dr. Yahya has touched lives before asking for votes. Today those lives returned to say “thank you” with their presence. Anyone who witnessed that sea of people would understand: Dan Galadima Fuunange is not just a politician. He is a role model. His leadership rises above party, above faith, above ethnicity.
And the message from Fufore was clear, one voice, one heartbeat: On Saturday, 13th June 2026, we will speak with one vote. Only Dr. Yahya Saidu Fufore and his Councillors will find space on the ballot of Fufore’s conscience.
This is democracy at its best massive, peaceful, grassroots, and inclusive. Even those who disagree will admit: this is what leadership that loves all looks like. Fufore has decided. One Fufore. One People. One Future.
