The Plateau State Police command Command has arrested seven (7) suspects including one Matthew Musa, 27 years, who was arrested in possession of two locally made firearms and one Yakubu Abdullahi, 26 years old who was wearing a military uniform with an extra shirt and a forged Nigerian Military School Identity Card in connection with yesterday’s disturbance in Nassarawa Gwong area of Jos.
The suspects are currently under investigation at the State CID and will be charged to Court upon conclusion.
The Commissioner of Police warned all criminal elements who intend to use this as an avenue to cause mayhem within the State, that the Command will not hesitate to deal with them severely in accordance with the law. He further warns that the Command will not stand and watch lawless hoodlums turn the State into a theatre for violence.
