The Ogun State Police Command has launched an investigation into the deaths of retired Ogun State Television (OGTV) broadcaster, Kitan Oyesiku,and her security guard after their bodies were discovered at her residence in Iyana Agodo Village, Ogun State.
According to reports, the incident came to light after a resident noticed suspicious activity around the property and alerted the authorities. Upon arrival, police officers found signs of forced entry and indications that a struggle may have occurred within the compound.
During their search, officers discovered the security guardβs body at the security post, while Oyesiku was found dead inside her apartment. The police also confirmed that her vehicle was missing from the residence.
The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, CP Bode Ojajuni,has ordered a thorough investigation into the incident, as security operatives work to identify and arrest those behind the killings.
Authorities have also intensified intelligence gathering and surveillance efforts, while appealing to members of the public with relevant information to assist the investigation.
