Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force in Bauchi State have arrested a 58-year-old man for allegedly stealing 18 rams within Bauchi metropolis.
The command’s spokesperson, Nafiu Habib, disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday.
According to the Police, the suspect was apprehended following investigations into the alleged theft of the animals within the metropolis.
The command, however, did not immediately disclose the identity of the suspect or the estimated value of the stolen rams.
Police authorities said investigation into the matter is ongoing as efforts continue to uncover possible accomplices linked to the crime.
