The South Ibie Kingdom in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State came alive with joy and celebrations as Muslims in the community marked Eid El-Fitr, a significant festival that concludes the holy month of Ramadan.
The Eid festivities were witnessed by hundreds of people from the kingdom, who gathered at the prayer ground to partake in the special occasion.
In his address at the event, His Royal Highness Alhaji Kelvin Danesi extended heartfelt prayers for peace, unity, and prosperity to the Muslim community. The royal leader, while reflecting on the importance of Eid El-Fitr, urged all Muslims to continue adhering to the core values and principles of Islam, which are the pillars that guide their faith and daily lives.
“I wish all Muslims around the world a joyful Eid El-Fitr celebration. May this occasion bring blessings of peace and goodwill to everyone,” HRH Danesi remarked, before addressing the entire people of South Ibie Kingdom. He expressed gratitude for the harmonious atmosphere in the kingdom and reiterated his wishes for a peaceful and prosperous future.
