Staff commend CAC honcho over Asset Disposal Exercise

The Registrar General/ CEO of the Corporate Affairs Commission, Alhaji Garba Abubakar has again received a pat on the back for according priority attention to Staff Welfare and for spearheading the most transparent asset disposal exercise witnessed in the history of the Commission.

Winners and losers who took part in the exercise gave the commendation today in Abuja.

The Exercise which took place in the two Abuja offices of the Commission :
Maitama Head Office and FCT Wuse Zone 5 office witnessed the disposal of saloon cars , buses and heavy duty generators amongst others at highly subsidized rates.

Some of the participants at the exercise described it as the most transparent witnessed in the history of the Commission.

Both the winners and losers expressed gratitude to Almighty God and also commended the Registrar General for ensuring transparency in the exercise urging him to sustain the tempo.

In his remark at the end of the exercise, the Chairman of the Asset Disposal Committee, Ado Ali Birnin Kudu, Deputy Director Administration Department, expressed satisfaction over the outcome of the exercise.

Ado Birnin Kudu revealed that the Registrar General had given them the nod to extend the exercise to State and Nodal Offices of the Commission around the country.

The President Senior Staff Association of Statutory Corporations and Government Owned Companies (SASCGOC, CAC BRANCH ), Comrade Suleiman Girei who also participated in the exercise expressed satisfaction with its outcome and applauded the Registrar General for prioritizing the welfare of staff.

He therefore prayed for continued progress of the Commission and urged Staff to continue to offer selfless service to the Commission and the Nation in general.
