Apostle Johnson Suleman has raised alarm over a suspected insider attack that razed a branch of Omega Fire Ministries International in South Africa.
Suleman disclosed that the church building, reportedly funded largely from his personal resources, was completely destroyed overnight in a mysterious fire, with nothing removed from the premises—fueling suspicions of internal complicity.
According to him, the branch had operated in South Africa for nearly a decade before finally acquiring the property. The inferno, he said, gutted the entire structure, including the main auditorium, children’s विभाग, equipment and vital documents.
In a troubling twist, the cleric noted that CCTV cameras failed to capture any footage of the perpetrators, a development he believes further points to an insider operation.
Despite the heavy loss, Suleman struck a tone of restraint and faith, saying he felt spiritually compelled to thank God rather than dwell on the destruction. He revealed that although securing a new location initially proved difficult, the ministry has since found a replacement worship centre within a short period.
He also disclosed that some members had pushed for retaliation, but he firmly urged calm and restraint.
In what he described as a silver lining, the new church location is situated in a more upscale area—an outcome he believes aligns with a greater divine purpose.
