The member representing Oredo West Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr Richard Osaro Edosa, has presented his legislative scorecard to residents and community stakeholders as he seeks re-election in the 2027 general elections.
Edosa, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the constituency, presented his record during an interactive meeting with residents, using the engagement to review his achievements, projects and interventions since assuming office.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for community members to express their concerns, highlight outstanding needs and share expectations for the constituency’s development.
Addressing the gathering, Edosa said leadership should be driven by purpose and service rather than the pursuit of personal recognition.
“True leadership is not about chasing people; it is about the pursuit of purpose, and that is what we stand for. I know that I am who I am today by the grace of God,” he said.
The lawmaker acknowledged what he described as God’s guidance in his political journey and urged residents to sustain their engagement with their elected representatives.
With the 2027 elections approaching, Edosa appealed to constituents to support his re-election bid and vote for APC candidates across all levels of government, from the presidency to the state legislature.
He said continued collaboration between elected officials and their constituents was essential to addressing community needs and advancing development.
The meeting forms part of Edosa’s ongoing consultations across Oredo West, providing a platform for residents to assess his record, raise concerns and discuss priorities ahead of the next electoral cycle.
