Abuja is set to host a major gathering of Nigeria’s media proprietors, content creators and nation builders as the Association of Proprietors of Private Media Establishment of Nigeria (APPMEN) holds its Aso APPMEN/Content Creators 1-Day Conference 2026 on Thursday, September 24.

The conference, themed “Voice, Vision, Purpose”, will take place at the AIG Aishatu Abubakar Baju Hall, VCN, beside the TETFUND Headquarters, Maitama, Abuja.

A key focus of the conference is the practical steps content creators can take to recover funds owed by major global digital platforms and protect their earnings.

APPMEN National Coordinator, Chief Precious Enebuse, said the conference is designed to move creators beyond complaints and provide practical solutions to persistent monetisation challenges.

“For years, Nigerian creators have powered global platforms with billions of views, yet many go unpaid due to policy issues, documentation errors and lack of support,” Enebuse said.
