AFCON23: Super Eagles deliver, fly to quarter-finals after defeating Cameroon 2:0

The match between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions in the Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 was a truly exciting encounter for football fans. The game took place on Saturday night, and it saw Nigeria emerge victorious with a 2-0 win over Cameroon. The hero of the game was Ademola Lookman, who scored both of Nigeria’s goals.

The first goal of the match came in the 36th minute. Victor Osimhen intercepted a pass and broke free, then passed the ball to Lookman. Lookman’s shot was weak, but it still managed to trickle past the goalkeeper and into the net.

The second goal of the match came in the 90th minute. Calvin Bassey crossed the ball into the box, and Lookman was there to touch it home and secure the win for Nigeria.
