ASUU Suspends Strike in Lagos-Owned Universities, Lecturers to Resume Immediately

Lecturers in Lagos State government-owned universities have suspended their industrial action, paving the way for an immediate return to academic activities.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) members in the affected institutions are expected to resume teaching following the suspension of the strike.

The universities affected are Lagos State University (LASU), Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) and Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH).

The suspension brings relief to students whose academic activities have been disrupted by the industrial action.
