Several members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Benue State sustained serious injuries on October 10 after a bus conveying them to a party rally in Lafia, Nasarawa State, collided head-on with another vehicle.
The crash occurred in the early hours of the day, just a few kilometres from the rally venue.
The injured party members were reportedly rushed to hospitals in Lafia for medical treatment.
Dan-Morgan Ihomun, publicity secretary of the Austin Agada faction of the APC in Benue State, confirmed the accident to journalists, assuring that no lives were lost.
Although the crash left several members of the delegation injured, there were no reported fatalities as of the time of filing this report.
