A Zimbabwean man has reportedly left four South Africans battling over the ownership of a single tuck shop container after allegedly selling the same structure to each of them in separate transactions.

According to reports, the four buyers each believed they had legitimately purchased the container after paying the same seller for it.

The bizarre scam reportedly came to light when the buyers encountered one another and all laid claim to the same structure. After comparing details of their respective deals, they allegedly discovered that they had all transacted with the same Zimbabwean man.

The revelation reportedly triggered an unusual ownership dispute, with each buyer insisting that they were the legitimate owner of the tuck shop.

The situation became even more complicated after the alleged seller reportedly disappeared from South Africa, leaving the four buyers to resolve the dispute among themselves and potentially face difficulties recovering their money.

The incident has effectively turned what appeared to be four independent business transactions into a single and extraordinary ownership battle over one tuck shop container.

The alleged seller remains out of reach, while the four buyers are reportedly left counting their losses and trying to establish who, if anyone, has a legitimate claim to the structure.

Police authorities had not issued an official statement on the reported incident as of the time of filing this report.
