The Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) has concluded its LAMP Bootcamp in Enugu, equipping livestock entrepreneurs with practical skills to strengthen their businesses, improve financial readiness and attract investment.

The intensive programme brought together livestock entrepreneurs for focused sessions on business development, financial management, enterprise growth and access to finance.

Participants engaged with industry experts and received practical guidance designed to help them build more structured and financially resilient enterprises capable of meeting the requirements of lenders and potential investors.

A major focus of the bootcamp was improving the entrepreneurs’ financial readiness and overall bankability, positioning their businesses to access financing and unlock opportunities for sustainable expansion.

However, the conclusion of the bootcamp marks only the beginning of the next phase of the initiative.

Outstanding enterprises from the Enugu cohort will proceed to the LAMP Mentorship Phase, where they will receive dedicated mentorship and tailored business support aimed at accelerating growth and strengthening long-term sustainability.

The mentorship phase is expected to provide participating enterprises with continued guidance as they translate lessons from the bootcamp into practical business strategies.

With the bootcamp now concluded, the focus shifts to building stronger, more resilient livestock enterprises capable of expanding their operations, attracting finance and contributing more significantly to Nigeria’s livestock sector.
