Democracy Day: Senator Imasuen Urges Edo South Constituents to Back Tinubu, Says Security Challenges Will Be Defeated

Senator representing Edo South Senatorial District, Neda Imasuen, has called on his constituents to remain steadfast in their support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing confidence that ongoing efforts to tackle insecurity and economic challenges will yield positive results.

In his Democracy Day message to the people of Edo South, Imasuen commended residents for their resilience, perseverance and unwavering faith in Nigeria despite the economic difficulties facing the country.

The senator described Democracy Day as a celebration of both democratic governance and the enduring spirit of Nigerians who continue to contribute to national development in the face of adversity.

Acknowledging the sacrifices being made by citizens amid ongoing economic reforms, Imasuen urged the people to continue supporting the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which he said was designed to build a stronger, more prosperous and secure nation.

“While the challenges are real, I urge you to remain steadfast in your support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Renewed Hope Agenda, which is aimed at laying a solid foundation for a stronger, more prosperous, and secure Nigeria,” he stated.

The lawmaker expressed optimism that the security challenges confronting parts of the country would soon be overcome, noting that the President had introduced strategic measures aimed at combating insecurity, stimulating economic growth, creating opportunities for young people and improving the welfare of citizens.

According to him, the Federal Government remains committed to restoring stability and ensuring that Nigerians reap the benefits of ongoing reforms.

Imasuen also reaffirmed his commitment to the people of Edo South, pledging to continue championing policies and legislation that would improve the lives of constituents.

“As your Senator and representative in the National Assembly, I remain fully committed to advocating policies and legislation that will uplift the people of Edo South, expand economic opportunities, improve infrastructure, strengthen education, and ensure that your voices are heard loud and clear at the highest levels of government,” he said.

The senator urged residents to remain united and hopeful, stressing that collective efforts would help drive the development of Edo South and contribute to national progress.
