On November 8, 2023, the World Safety Organisation (WSO) will bestow a prestigious award on Comrade Festus Alenkhe, the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council.
The recognition will take place during the World Safety Organisation (WSO) SafERR Africa Investiture, Summit and Award event, held at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, (LCCI) Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
The theme for the event is “HSSE: Past, Present and Future”, and it aims to promote safety in all aspects of life. The WSO is an international organization that encourages safety in over 100 countries across the globe.
The award ceremony is a significant event that recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions towards promoting safety. The award letter, dated September 5, 2023, was signed by Dr Soji Olalokun, the Country Director of the World Safety Organisation in Nigeria, and Ambassador Wilson Arikpo, the Governor General of SafERR Africa Ambassador.
This recognition highlights Alenkhe’s exceptional work and dedication towards promoting safety in Nigeria. Comrade Festus Alenkhe is an accomplished journalist and a respected figure in the Nigerian media industry.
