She said the Commission would intensify public enlightenment and stakeholder engagement to ensure that residents, particularly vulnerable groups, are adequately informed about their health insurance rights, benefits and available healthcare services.

Ikpea-Enaholo attributed the progress recorded by the Commission to the support and leadership of Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, noting that the administration had provided an enabling environment for EDOHIC to advance its mandate and contribute to the development of the stateโ€™s health sector.

She also acknowledged the commitment and professionalism of the Commissionโ€™s workforce, describing its achievements as the result of collective effort.

The Director-General reaffirmed EDOHICโ€™s commitment to expanding health insurance coverage, reducing avoidable financial barriers to healthcare and strengthening public confidence in the stateโ€™s health insurance system.
