The Chairman of Egor Local Government Area, Honourable Ighodaro Kelvin Eguakun, has introduced firm measures to promote punctuality and dedication among Council staff.
During a staff address at the Council Secretariat on Monday, Hon Eguakun emphasised the importance of timeliness and commitment to duty, highlighting these as essential to advancing the Council’s progress.
Arriving promptly at 7:10 am, the Chairman demonstrated his stance by ordering the closure of the Council’s entrance gate at 8:21 am, leaving latecomers outside. Speaking to the affected workers, he declared that the era of laxity was over.
Hon Eguakun urged staff members to match his efforts to enhance their welfare by showing greater dedication to their roles, stressing that their collective input was critical to driving sustainable development in the local government area.
