Hon. Anamero Dekeri, who represents Etsako Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, has strongly denounced the Monday abduction of Dangote employees in Okpella. In a personally signed statement, Hon. Anamero characterized the actions of the kidnappers as evil, criminal, and detrimental to the region’s progress.
He issued a stern warning to the perpetrators, cautioning them to refrain from encroaching on Okpella land as they would soon face the consequences of the law.
Expressing solidarity with the Dangote group, the victims’ families, and the Okpella community, Hon. Anamero extended his sympathies in light of the criminal activities.
He urged the Nigeria police force, Nigeria Army, local hunters, vigilante groups, and other security entities to mobilize all available resources to secure the safe release of the abducted individuals.
Hon. Anamero reiterated his unwavering dedication to bolstering security measures to ensure the safety of the region.
He pledged continued support for efforts aimed at safeguarding the community and emphasized the importance of collaboration among all stakeholders in combating criminal activities.
Uptown Press had earlier reported that scores of Dangote staff where kidnapped on Monday evening while returning from work. During the attack, some workers who attempted to escape were shot.
