Plateau Govt Arraigns Five Over Angwa Rukuba Killings

The Plateau State Government has arraigned five suspects arrested in connection with the March 2026 killings in Angwa Rukuba, Jos North, marking a major step toward justice for the victims.

The suspects are Isa Umar Ibrahim, Auwalu Abubakar (also known as Auwalu Dogo), Musa Abubakar Ibrahim (aka Yaroro), Ado Ibrahim, and Adamu Isa Alhassan.

According to reports, the first four suspects are facing charges bordering on criminal conspiracy and terrorism-related offences. Adamu Isa Alhassan, however, faces additional and more severe charges, including culpable homicide, unlawful possession of firearms, and illegal arms trafficking.

The suspects were apprehended by security operatives between April 3 and April 10, 2026.
