U.S. rapper Enchanting has tragically passed away at the age of 26 following a reported overdose.
The Gucci Mane-affiliated artist was in critical condition in an intensive care unit before succumbing to her health complications.
Her management confirmed her death to The Shade Room, noting that she had been suffering from withdrawals prior to her untimely passing.
A representative stated, “She came to my house the last four days to get clean. She tried her best and I did everything I could to help her. She tried.”
Known by her real name, Channing Nicole Larry, Enchanting was previously signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 label. She made her debut with the 2018 mixtape *Love & Drugs* and featured on the 2020 compilation *Gucci Mane Presents So Icy Summer*.
In addition to her music career, Larry was a creator on OnlyFans, where she garnered over 25,000 likes. In a 2023 profile by the Dallas Observer, she shared her musical journey, beginning in the church choir and as a high school cheerleader. After graduation, she worked in hair and nails before pursuing hip-hop.
Reflecting on her path to music, Larry said, “I feel like music was always something that was easy for me. I felt like I was musically inclined, always. It was something that I thought should probably put more time and effort into because it was natural, you know, instead of trying to force a talent.”
At the time of the interview, she was collaborating with producer J White, known for his work with Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and Gucci Mane.
