The Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State will resume Academic activities for the 2020/2021 academic session on June 15th, 2021.
This is coming after the national body of Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic, (ASUP) called off its 65-days strike.
This development was made known in a statement by the Registrar of the Institution, Dr. G. E. Ihionkhan, a copy of which was made available to this blog on Friday.
The statement reads in part: “The Acting Rector Engr. Mustapha Zekeri has on behalf of the Academic Board of the Polytechnic approved Tuesday 15th June, 2021 as commencement date for the 2020/2021 academic session for the Regular students of the Polytechnic.
“Consequently, new students are expected to arrive campus on Tuesday, 15th June, 2021 and begin registration immediately while old students are to arrive campus on Sunday, 27th June, 2021.
“Registration for old students begins on Monday 28th June, 2021.”
