Imonofi: How Edo Council Boss sensitizes residents on Coronavirus pandemic

Hon. Imonofi Inusa, Chairman Etsako West Local Government of Edo State is taking the fight against Coronavirus pandemic to the nooks and crannies of the Council as he takes sensitization programme to the grassroot people.
The Chairman in a chat with journalists on Wednesday disclosed that adequate awareness programme is on at the Council to enlightened the residents how they can protect themselves from the invisible enemy.
He stated that the Council has always inform the people to abide by the non-phamaceutical protocol against the spread of the virus such as wearing of facemask, washing of hands with soap and water.
Hon. Imonofi said:”We admonished the people of the Council to continue to abide by the COVID-19 prevention protocol by maintaining social distancing in the public.
Today, we shall be at the Uchi market for sensitization mission on the need for the people to protect themselves against the virus. All market men and women and anyone going to to the market to buy things must wear facemask.
“Transporters and those entering vehicles must wear facemask. Tomorrow which happens to be Jattu market, we shall be there to further sensitize the people both market men and women there and those coming for shopping.
The Chairman prayed for the quick exit of the virus from the Council and Edo State atlarge.

Hon. Imonofi said: “We are doing all we we can to see that the virus is out of the Council and Edo State”, urging other Council Chairmen in the State to emulate his efforts
